Winter Weddings

So, according to the Met Office, today marks the official start of the autumn.  And we just love this time of year… it’s the start of the winter wedding season.

Autumn and winter weddings naturally have a very different feel to hot and sunny summer celebrations but are an opportunity to create a magical and perfect day. We love to explore themes and ideas with our clients - truly sumptuous settings can be created using rich, jewel tones or wintery whites and ivories with beautiful natural green garlands. And of course, candles, candles and more candles.

One of the great benefits of getting married in the winter is that you won’t have to stress worrying about the weather; you won’t need to plan what to do if its pouring with rain or just far too hot for any outside ceremonies or receptions. In addition, as the most sought after venues tend to get booked more quickly for the summer, out of high season you get better choice and availability.   Either way, it’s always worth booking your desired venue well in advance.
